Ownership and sponsorship
Who is behind this guide.
A commercially owned publication can be useful. It has to be clear about its relationships.
Publisher
Foothills Local Guide is operated within the VeePo family of companies, which also includes businesses featured on this site. The exact operating entity will be stated here before launch.
Affiliated businesses
The following featured businesses are affiliated with the publisher. Their profiles describe published services and work; they are not independent rankings, and the label appears on every card and profile.
- Atom2Adam: Affiliation confirmed by the publisher on 2026-10-16. veepo.ca lists Atom2Adam under its companies; atom2adam.com footer reads "Powered By VeePo.ca".
- Local Cochrane Web Design: Affiliation confirmed by the publisher on 2026-10-16. veepo.ca lists Local Cochrane Web Design under its companies; the business publishes a veepo.ca contact email.
Sponsored features
There are no sponsored features or paid placements at present. If that changes, they will be labelled "Sponsored feature" and listed here, and paid links will carry the appropriate link attributes.
What the relationship does not change
- Every guide stays useful whichever provider you choose, including providers not featured here.
- An affiliated business is not ranked first because it is affiliated.
- Your Before You Hire Kit request is not shared with any business.
- Provider enquiries go directly to the provider's own website; we do not collect them.
Independent listings
Businesses with no relationship to the publisher can be profiled on the same terms. Listing is free and is not an endorsement. Suggest a business.
